Olis is built to help you turn everyday photos into story-driven artistic pieces, without requiring professional editing skills. We design all product logic around the core principle that your creative content belongs to you exclusively. This agreement outlines how we handle data related to your use of Olis, and the commitments we make to protect your creative privacy.
All content you create or import into Olis, including but not limited to original uploaded photos, edited works, frame selection records, light adjustment parameters, shadow angle settings and draft works, are processed entirely on your local device by default. We never collect, store, transmit or share these creative assets to our servers or any third-party entities, unless you actively initiate a third-party sharing action through the app's export function.
When you export edited works to your local device album, all related creative data remains stored only on your device, and we do not retain copies of any exported content.
To optimize advertising delivery effect and app performance attribution, we have integrated the following third-party SDKs: Facebook SDK, Adjust SDK. The scope of data processed by these SDKs is strictly limited to the following anonymous, non-creative related information:
We have signed strict data processing agreements with the above third-party service providers, which explicitly prohibit them from accessing, collecting or processing any of your creative content mentioned in the previous section. No personal creative data will ever be shared with these third parties for any reason.
All unexported draft works, editing history, custom light presets and frame preference records are stored only in the local storage space of your device. We do not have access to this local storage content.
If you uninstall the Olis app from your device, all locally stored data related to your creative activities will be permanently deleted along with the app. We recommend you export important edited works to your device album before uninstalling to avoid data loss.
Our curated frame library includes hundreds of authentic traditional window lattices, vintage door frames, classic archways and other cultural frame designs sourced from different regions and historical periods. All frame assets are legally licensed, and you can use these assets for your personal creative works without additional authorization.
When we update the frame library with new design styles and cultural themes, the update process only transmits frame asset files to your device, and we do not collect any personal data from your device during the update process. The frame update request is anonymous and will not be associated with any personal identifier.
The signature interactive time axis function of Olis simulates natural light changes across different hours of the day, including shadow angle adjustment, light warmth and intensity modification. All rendering and calculation processes of this function are completed locally on your device, and we do not upload any adjustment parameters or rendering process data to our servers.
Any custom light effect presets you save are stored only locally on your device, and will not be synchronized or uploaded to our cloud service unless you actively choose to do so (this feature is optional and not enabled by default).
When you export edited photos in high resolution or share works directly to third-party social platforms, this process is initiated entirely by your active operation. We do not collect any data related to your shared content, social platform account information or sharing target during this process. The sharing operation is processed by your device system or the corresponding third-party social platform service, and Olis does not intervene in this process.
You have the right to request access to, correction of or deletion of any anonymous non-creative data we may hold related to your use of Olis. You can submit your request at any time via the contact email stated at the end of this agreement, and we will respond to your request within 15 working days.
You also have the right to stop all data collection activities of Olis by uninstalling the app from your device, which will also permanently delete all local creative data stored on your device by Olis.
We may update this agreement from time to time to adapt to product function iterations and data protection best practices. When we update the agreement, we will notify you through an in-app pop-up window 30 days before the updated agreement takes effect. If you continue to use Olis after the updated agreement takes effect, it means you agree to the updated content. If you do not agree with the updated content, you can stop using Olis and uninstall the app at any time.
We follow industry-leading data security standards to protect the small amount of anonymous non-creative data we hold, and adopt strict encryption and access control measures to avoid data leakage, tampering or loss. In the event of a data security incident that may affect your rights, we will notify you through in-app notification within 72 hours after we confirm the incident.
